2024 ENTRIES AND PAYMENT
USA Gymnastics Reservations
Register by March 1st
Gymnasts: Register ALL athletes who may qualify to Regionals and plan to attend by March 1st. This will allow the start of the planning process for Regionals. At State Meet, scratch athletes that have not qualified after each session. DO NOT PAY FOR THE ATHLETES UNTIL THE SUNDAY OF STATE MEET AND PAY FOR THEM ALL AT ONCE.
Coaches: Register all coaches that may attend Regionals. All coaches must be on the reservation. Failure to register by Wednesday before Regionals will result in a $100 per coach onsite penalty.
Payments to MeetMaker Only
We will be using MeetMaker to process payments. You MUST pay for your athletes on MeetMaker at your State meet.
If you do not have a MeetMaker account, please create one before your State Meet. You must have your USAG club number on MeetMaker so it can sync up to USA Gymnastics reservation system.
Entry Fees – New for 2024
Level 7-10 $150 per gymnast
Level 6 $135 per gymnast
Prices reflect new decision to have a 4-judge panel at regionals for Level 7-10
Late Fee: Registrations not paid for by 11:59pm on the Monday after State Meet will be charged a $25 per athlete late fee.
Refunds: Refunds due to illness or injury will be awarded up to two (2) weeks prior to the start of the Regional Meet with appropriate physician note. Scratches should be done on Meet Maker and a refund request should be emailed to the following:

COMPETITOR QUALIFICATION
Qualifying for Regionals 2024
The athlete needs to have achieved these scores at their current level at the State Meet.
- Level 10 AA 34.00 IES 8.5
- Level 9 AA 34.00 IES 8.5
- Level 8 AA 34.00 IES 9.0
- Level 7 AA 34.00 IES 9.0
- Level 6 AA 34.00 IES 9.0
Individual Event Specialist (IES): Level 6, 7, 8 athletes do NOT have to declare IES prior to the start of the state meet. Level 9 and 10 athletes who do not achieve an AA qualifyingscore to Regionals, can still advance to Regionals on the events they achieve the IES score. (Region 4 Committee, February 22, 2024)

Petition Form:
Gymnasts’ unable to compete at the State Championships or unable to compete in the All-Around (AA) at State Championships, due to injury or illness can be petitioned to Regionals. This includes AA athletes who are unable to compete on all four (4) events at State Meet, and IES that cannot compete on their selected event(s). Please note, petitions cannot be done if the athlete has competed on all four (4) events at the State Meet.
The athlete can directly enter the Regional Championships if the following requirements are met, and documentation is included with the petition form:
Petition Score Qualifications:
1. All Around petitions for level 6-10:
A photocopy of at least one pre-State sanctioned meet results from the current season (at the level to which they are petitioning) showing a score at least one point (1.00) greater than the Regional qualifying score (see Qualification Score section).
OR
If the gymnast competed in the previous year’s Dev Regionals and her Optional AA score was at least one point (1.00) greater than the current Regional qualifying score, they may submit their last year’s Regional score as their pre-State Championships score.
Individual Event Specialist (IES)
IES for Level 9 & 10 only can petition to Regionals with a photocopy of at least one pre-State sanctioned meet results from the current season (at the level to which they are petitioning) showing a score of at least 8.75 on their individual event.
OR
If an IES for Level 9 & 10 only gymnasts competed in the previous year’s Dev Regionals on their IES event with a score of 8.75 or greater, they may submit their last year’s Regional score as their pre-State Championships score.
Level 6-8 cannot petition to Regionals as an IES.
2. Medical Qualifications:
A Licensed Medical Professional’s written verification of the illness or injury with date of release for returning to athletic activity.
3. Written request from the coach via email.
4. Completed USAG Petition Form
All petitions must be received by RTCC Windee Weiss for Dev Program within 3 days of the State Meet. Email only.
Petition gymnasts MUST enter Regional Championships at their State Meet and pay for the petition athletes on Meetmaker. Please note they are a petition on Meetmaker when you pay. If the petition is not approved, your entry will be refunded by check.

Additional Information
Age Groups: Age groups are set nationally by USA Gymnastics for Level 9/10. They will be available after state meets and posted on the regional website.
Scores: Live scoring on MyUSAGym.com.
Awards: Individual and All-Around awards will be presented to each Age Group following each competitive session. There will also be team awards given to the top 3 state teams at Level 9 & 10. Awards will follow the rules and policies requirements but will go out 40% in each age group as dictated by the regional board.
Coaches Hospitality: No complimentary coach’s food will be provided at Regional Championships. Concessions will be available for purchase. We will be providing water and light snacks.
Equipment: AAI Elite Equipment and boards at each event Modified Traditional.
Tentative Schedule:
Friday, April 12th: Level 10’s and Level 7’s
Saturday, April 13th: Level 9’s and Level 8’s
Sunday, April 14th: Level 9’s & 8’s (if needed), L 6’s

ADMISSIONS: We will take cash or credit card. Gymnasts can come watch their teammates for a discounted price of $5 per day.

WESTERN AND NATIONAL QUALIFIERS
Western and National Qualifiers: ALL gymnasts and coaches qualifying for Western Championships or Nationals MUST be sized for official Region IV Apparel.
*Gymnasts need to be sized immediately following their competitive session.
*Coaches must be sized by 11:00am on Sunday.

Qualification to DP Nationals
- Top seven (7) Level 10 All Around in each of the 12 age groups qualify to Dev Nationals and compete as Region 4 Jr/Sr Teams.
- Minimum 35.00 AA required
- Team members and 1st alternate are outfitted with a leotard and warm-up by the National sponsor in addition to Region 4 apparel.
- Level 10 All Stars
- Athletes not qualifying to Level 10 Nationals in their age division can qualify to the All Star Session
- No age divisions are considered in determining these qualifiers
- After the completion of all Level 10 sessions on Friday the Region 4 All Star qualifiers will be announced:
- The athletes with the top two (2) All Around scores (minimum 35.0) who did not qualify in their age division qualify to compete All Around (these athletes can also be alternates for DEV Nationals)
- Athletes with the top five (5) Vault scores (minimum 9.3) who did not qualify in their age division qualify to compete Vault
- Athletes with the top five (5) Bars scores (minimum 9.3) who did not qualify in their age division qualify to compete Bars
- Athletes with the top five (5) Beam scores (minimum 9.3) who did not qualify in their age division qualify to compete Beam
- Athletes with the top five (5) Floor scores (minimum 9.3) who did not qualify in their age division qualify to compete Floor
Qualification to Westerns
- Top seven (7) Level 9 All Around in each of the 16 age groups qualify to Westerns and compete as the Region 4 Jr/Sr Teams.
- Minimum 34.00 AA required
- Team members are outfitted with a leotard and warm-up by the National sponsor in addition to Region 4 apparel.
